Guardian Watchmen logged over 300 patrol days on the water during the 2011 field season, actively monitoring conservancies, tourist activities, sport fishing effort, wildlife sightings, crab and prawn traps, cultural sites and enforcement incidents using the Regional Monitoring Strategy.  This brings the total to over 3000 hours spent on patrol since communities began documenting their monitoring efforts less than 2 years ago.
